![]() ![]() ![]() Then I had audio going into a DAW track, and could add my VST effects I simply used an instrument cable from the "high" out on the back panel into a mic/line -pre of my interface Now for getting sounds into my DAW ( Reaper ) I found I did not need a USB cable from the Model D, as the Behringer "hook up" diagrams show, they way overdid it, and underdid it imo, for getting you off on the right foot. I could hear everything through the headphone out on the Model D. I went ahead and powered it by wall wart, then all was fine. I had an old Korg K25 which does not have drivers since a couple Windows versions, so I thought powering via USB should not be an issue. Obvious? Well if you know that there would be a conflict already, I suppose. I had a midi cable out from the controller to the Model D as well. the USB connection was sending midi to the computer instead of the Model D. I was connecting my midi controllers via USB to power them, and it seemed the midi outs did not function in that case. I did just get a used Model D and had similar issues getting it to produce the sounds and function properly. I rarely use hardware synthsÄue to the expense of most of said synths. Hello, just to add a couple comments to the pile.
